Use this prayer for any general spiritual request that would invoke
the spiritual powers and
entities of the Third Greater Quimbanda
Kingdom and all Seven Lesser
Quimbanda Kingdoms. The spiritual
entities found within this
kingdom are usually associated with the
emotional and physical
attraction of wealth and romance.
INSTRUCTIONS
Draw the Quimbanda Cross spirit
signature on a flat surface. Place a red candle, a black candle and
a white candle into the center of the Quimbanda Cross and light them.
Standing towards the East, do and say the following prayer:
Using your right hand, make the
sign of the Quimbanda Trinity
Cross over your body. The
Quimbanda Trinity sign of the Cross is
made by touching the hand
sequentially to the forehead, lower
chest or navel area, and right
shoulder,then left shoulder and then
placing your hands together in a

In the year 1806, the De Bourbon-Montenegro Family, fleeing the invasion of Napoleon Bonaparte into the Iberian Peninsula, arrived to the Country of Brazil from Europe. The De Bourbon-Montenegro Family brought with them to Brazil a very rich Gnostic knowledge of the occult sciences and the magical principles of the "Old World" Goetia magical tradition as found in many of the ancient occult books of that time period, such as, The Lesser Keys of King Solomon. After the arrival of the De Bourbon-Montenegro Family to Brazil, they became interested in the Congolese magico-religious traditions that were being practiced secretly by the Congolese peoples that were brought from Africa to Brazil in the year 1514 to work on the sugarcane and coffee plantations. In the 1920’s the De Bourbon-Montenegro Family immigrated to the United States of America and brought with them the sacred spirit mysteries, initiatory rites and occult philosophy of the Afro-Brazilian Gnostic Quimbanda tradition. The Aje Spirits Initiation Ceremony is one of the most beautiful
ceremonies of the Congolese derived religion of Afro-Brazilian Gnostic

powerful groups throughout history such as the Knights Templar, the Freemason's

The original medieval Order of Knights Templar was
established after the First Crusade, and existed from approximately 1118 to

took refuge in Scotland and other countries such as Portugal, following the
arrest of European Templar's on Friday 13, 1307, the remaining body of Knights
escaped to Scotland and eventually the New World from the port of La Rochelle.
Others maintain that they gradually merged into 14th century life across Europe
from Portugal or Switzerland. It is believed that the Knights Templar, while
excavating the ancient site of the famous King Solomon, discovered secret
biblical artifacts that contained the mystical power of God, including the
possible "Ark of the Covenant." Although officially, the
Freemasonry's general disclaimer that no one Masonic organization claims a
direct heritage to the medieval Knights Templar, certain degrees and orders are
obviously patterned after the medieval Order. These are best described as
"commemorative orders" or degrees. Nevertheless, in spite of the
fraternity's official disclaimers, some Masons and non-Masons insist that
certain Masonic rites or degrees originally had direct Templar influence. One

concerned a brass vessel which he possessed that contained the occult mysteries

its insignia a white background with a red "Knights Templar Cross".
In 1420, Prince Henry the Navigator, a Portuguese Royal Prince was made Grand
Master of the Order of Christ. Funds from the religious order financed his
expeditions and the first Portuguese navigators sailed under the "Red
Cross" of the Knights Templar. In the year 1460, Prince Henry died, but the
Portuguese Empire continued to sail under the "Red Cross" of the
Knights Templar and expanded into the African Continent in exploration of
biblical artifacts of the ancient temple of King Solomon. In 1483, the
Portuguese Explorer, Diogo Cao sailed up the uncharted Congo River and stumbled
on Congo Villages and became the first European to encounter the Congo Kingdom.
In the year 1485, the ruling Congolese King, Nzinga Nkuwu was baptized and
converted to Christianity along with the principal nobles of the Congolese
Kingdom.
As a result, the Congolese beliefs about spirituality
were merged into the early Christian doctrine of the First Congolese Catholic
Church. The First Congolese Catholic Church was based on Gnostic Christian
Principles. The year 1485, is the beginning of the present day Afro-Brazilian
spiritual tradition of Gnostic Quimbanda. The word Quimbanda comes from the
Congolese word meaning "healer" or "to heal". In the year
1806, the De Bourbon-Montenegro Family, fleeing the invasion of Napoleon
Bonaparte into the Iberian Peninsula, arrived to the Country of Brazil from
Europe. The De Bourbon-Montenegro Family
brought with them to Brazil a very rich Gnostic knowledge of the occult
sciences and the magical principles of the "Old World" Goetia magical
tradition as found in many of the ancient occult books of that time period,
such as, The Lesser Keys of King Solomon. After the arrival of the De
Bourbon-Montenegro Family to Brazil, they became interested in the Congolese
magical religious traditions that were being practiced secretly by the
Congolese peoples that were brought from Africa to Brazil in the year 1514 to
work on the sugarcane and coffee plantations. One of the reasons why the De
Bourbon-Montenegro Family became so interested in the spirituality of the Congolese
was because of the similarities that they observed between their own occult
beliefs and the spiritual elements of Gnostic Mysticism that they observed
within the Congolese religious practices. On May 1, 1864, a black Congolese
woman who worked on a coffee plantation in the lush tropical mountains just
outside of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, by the name of Paola Fernandes, introduced and initiated Matilda Andrade De Bourbon-Montenegro into the sacred mysteries of
the Congolese religious tradition, which later would become the historical
beginnings of the present day Afro-Brazilian Gnostic Quimbanda tradition. In
the 1920’s the De Bourbon-Montenegro
Family immigrated to the United States of America and brought with them the
sacred spirit mysteries, initiatory rites and occult philosophy of the
Afro-Brazilian Gnostic Quimbanda tradition. During the 1920’s through the
1980’s, the Gnostic Mystic traditions that were practiced by the De
Bourbon-Montenegro Family were greatly influence by Matriarch, Maria De Bourbon-Montenegro
until her death at the age of 98. One of the most interesting historical facts
surrounding the legendary De Bourbon-Montenegro Family is that all of them were
Masons dating back to the early 1700's. This early Masonic influence can be
clearly seen in the unique initiatory rites as practiced in the Gnostic
Quimbanda tradition.
On May 1, 2013, the Afro-Brazilian Gnostic Quimbanda
tradition of the De Bourbon-Montenegro Family, celebrates its 150th Year
Anniversary. In 2003, in order to preserve these sacred Gnostic Mysteries,
Carlos Antonio-De-Bourbon-Galdiano-Montenegro officially organized these sacred
mysteries of King Solomon, the Knights Templar and the Masonic tradition, which
his family has preserved for so many years and established a Gnostic Quimbanda
Mystic School of light, dedicated to the preservation, and transmission of
these Sacred Mysteries to all those who wish to truly learn how to become the
Masters of their lives, and the architects of their destiny.
Many members of the Fraternal Order of Freemasonry, may
find great interest in our Mysteries, and our Tradition since a portion of the
Gnostic Mysteries were derived directly from the Temple of King Solomon. The
